4.01. The training period, the activities of which must be closely related to the field of practice, is designed to initiate the candidate to the practice of the profession, to develop a better understanding of the forest environment and to achieve professional autonomy through the acquisition of relevant experience.
The training period may be served in one or more fields, which may include the following:(a) forest resource planning;
(b) inventory and photointerpretation;
(c) urban forestry;
(d) silviculture and reforestation;
(e) ecology and pedology;
(f) forest management;
(g) protection and conservation;
(h) forest operations;
(i) utilization and processing;
(j) forest valuation.
